Golden Globe nominee Angel Tompkins was one of the most beautiful and hard working actresses in the seventies and eighties. After modeling successfully in Chicago, Angel transitioned to film in in the late 1960s. She made an accomplished and notable film debut as the seductive blonde who comes between husband and wife Elliott Gould and Brenda Vaccaro in the comedy I Love ** Wife (1970). Angel experienced almost Bo Derek-like attention as Gould's mistress and earned a Golden Globe nomination for "Best Newcomer".
