Carlo Mirabella-Davis is a producer and director, known for Knife Point (2009), Swallow (2019) and The Swell Season (2011).Carlo Mirabella-Davis was raised in the mountains of East Meredith, in upstate New York. He co-founded Elkcreek Cinema, a collective dedicated to films involving the upstate area. He has an MFA & BFA from Tisch NYU Film School. Mirabella-Davis wrote and directed the short film "Knife Point", which premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, aired on Arte-TV, and for which he won “Best New Director” at the Brooklyn International Film Festival. Carlo co-directed and produced the feature documentary "The Swell Season". His feature screenplay was chosen for the 2011 Sundance Screenwriters lab and 2011 Sundance Directors Lab. Most recently he directed the Mountain Goats "Cry for Judas" music video and the Aoife O'Donovan "Beekeeper" music video.Grew up with Chris Dapkins in East Meredith, upstate New York.Attended NYU Tisch Graduate Film School with Nick August-Perna.
